about
It's been a year since the release of What Blooms Us, GREY. has enchanted emo music lovers and 90s alternative rock on the national music scene. GREY.'s cruising range with the EP What Blooms Us is also high, which has brought them to stages in West Java such as Bandung, Bekasi and Jakarta on the Agony Blooms Us tour with their B-Area bandmate Devil Despize. The tour has been going on since May 2022, 4 months since the release of What Blooms Us on January 10 2022. Now Ivan Fadhilah as the frontman and songwriter seems to be impatient to press the production button and release a new single in 2023, Content.
For songwriting this time, GREY. agreed to give the title "Content" where the context of the content in this song is a sense of satisfaction, a sense of relief or a sense of peace when returning alone after going through a relationship full of tense emotional turmoil. In a way, "Content" describes the feelings when going through the post break up phase.
lyrics
Your current moon is fading
Like an autumn tree leave waving
Don't bother to cry I know it's dry
I know it's dry
Smell the sun
‘Cause there is no more summer
(There’s no more summer)
And now you run
Run and left no more answer
(Left no more answer)
If nothing much happens I'm thankful
And I'm content with everything
Perhaps the roses really want to grow
If you can't tell me I swear I don't wanna know
I don't wanna know
Smell the sun
‘Cause there is no more summer
(There’s no more summer)
And now you run
Run and left no more answer
(Left no more answer)
Was I right, was I wrong, can I do better?
Was I right, was I wrong, can I do better?
Was I right, was I wrong, can I do better?
Was I right, was I wrong?
