A co-release with Greedy Dust Records, EP 'Falsified Pleasure, Blessings Given' from Eastcape tells that every human being must have another side to fake his happiness or pretend to be happy with other people, and there is a reason why someone fakes his happiness. In his fake there are various negative sides from adversity to the sadness he experiences, but the negative side in it will not be 'taken out' just like that.

“Hiding sadness covered by fake happiness is very hard, and everyone will hope that true happiness will be given in due time. Falsehood won't last long, so real hope is real happiness in it." Said Rizky Harsoyo, the vocalist and main guitarist.

Eastcape tries to be more romantic by bringing up personal narratives in each song on this EP. Consists
out of 5 songs, 2 of which were instrumental songs, they established themselves as one of the midwest emo units that experimented a lot with their music, especially in East Java. Material for this EP has been worked on since mid-2022, except for Mereda/Medum which has actually been frequently performed at every Eastcape appearance as instrumental music. It continues to organically evolve into the first full song with Indonesian lyrics that Eastcape has created. Asked about the new things that Eastcape has to offer in this EP, Rizky Harsoyo revealed that:

“Maybe this EP is more "inconsequential" than Eastcape's previous materials, both in terms of production and materials, we explored a lot here. In addition, each song has its own life and emotions. From there it might seem that each song has its own "genre", "Bloom in Time" and "Mereda/Medemam" are two very different songs but can be included in the same EP. Eastcape wants to offer a variety of musical nuances, from the formation of emotions ranging from anger, happiness, to contemplation." Rizky Harsoyo said explaining the substance of the album.

For their only Indonesian-language song, Mereda/Meredam, Rizky Harsoyo or familiarly called Hars said:

"Emotionally, we hope to be more connected to the audience because the message is more direct and in-depth. Indonesian has unique melodic characteristics and patterns. Also because it can provide an additional artistic dimension and uniqueness to this EP because writing it is full of challenges.” Hars said explaining his creative and artistic side
